Children Are Us Foundation was founded by a group of parents whose children have Intellectual development disorders. The core goals of the foundation are the care and education of persons with intellectual disabilities.
On June 29th 1995, these parents raised NT$500,000 to form the Children Are Us of Cultural and Educational Foundation. In May 2006, it was recognized by the Ministry of The Interior and was registered as Children Are Us Foundation for Social Welfare in October of that year. Service Agencies of Children Are US have been established in Taipei, New Taipei, Hsinchu and Kaohsiung Cities.
In 2012, we established the Swan Castle for care of our more elderly charges.
In 2013, we established the Phoenix center, our medical facility.
